1. How to plan a course/lesson? How to use material appropriately? (Bring along lessons that were Masterclasses for you)

2. Technology. What do I do with it? (Bring in any website, blog or platform in mind, which is worth sharing with the rest of us)

REFERENCE MATERIAL: GRAMMAR AND VOCABULARY

SAT & SET has recently acquired a few new books related mainly related to GRAMMAR AND VOCABULARY for the First Certificate as well as GENERAL ENGLISH, which may be used as reference material. Here they are:

1. GRAMMAR FOR FCE: UPPER INTERMEDIATE. Great book with easy lessons on grammar and with few but varied exercises to illustrate the main points.

2. FCE: USE OF ENGLISH: UPPER INTERMEDIATE. Probably the best book to confirm and solidify the English our students use. A great book with a variety of exercises mainly related to common English use. (phrasal verbs, register transfers, identifying grammar mistakes, vocabulary, etc.)

3.BUSINESS GRAMMAR: INTERMEDIATE: A good grammar book that may help students develop better skills in Business grammar. Very clear and straightforward.

4. VERB TENSES: INTERMEDIATE: Good explanations and simple, but different exercises to practice verb tenses.

5. ADVANCED VOCABULARY AND IDIOMS: The best book there is to teach idiomatic expressions along with vocabulary which has been categorized semantically. Great book for ADVANCED students.

We've also acquired the new edition of TOTAL ENGLISH ELEMENTARY in its brand new format. Very interesting lay-out and interesting topics. Check it out in our library. Here are some downloads offered by Pearson Longman from the TOTAL ENGLISH series.
